Good morning, Falcons! May you greet the best day ever. Principal Poletti here with a few updates:

• This year, the Lord has again inordinately blessed St Mary Catholic School with wonderful students, families, faculty, staff, and priests. As the sun rises on School Year 25-26, I trust we will continue to vault for excellence in a caring Catholic Christian tradition. Welcome aboard!
• Thank you to the students and families new to St Mary who showed up for new student orientation over the past two evenings. One hour is never enough to learn the ins and outs of a new school. But it's a start. The good news is that we have an Open House today from 1:00-3:00...and then 180 school days to perfect the model together.
• Open House
• All buildings will be open for you to roam. Be sure to check out the basilica if it is not in use. Aside from being an artistic and architectural marvel, it is the bedrock or our campus and our mission. Moments in its glory are never wasted.
• Teachers and staff will be in their work environments, in which handout material will be available. Don't forget to drop in on Coach C in the gym.
• Be sure to check out your music teachers (Mrs. Hardison, Mrs. Bailey, and Dr. Spencer) on first floor of Tileston.
• Although no formal presentations are planned, ample opportunity will exist to get your questions answered.
• The Athletics Dept will have St Mary gear for sale on Ann Street.
• Home and School Association will have a table in the cafeteria. Please sign up to support our school.
• You may bring school supplies and leave them in home rooms.
• Front Office: Although Ms. Sandy is out today, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Vicki will be holding down the fort and can respond to any questions or concerns regarding the business end of our school.
• Uniform Closet: Ms. Vicki will be available to help you if you need to refresh your student's uniform. Conversely, she will gladly accept items which your student has outgrown. Just drop off the bags in the cafe.
• School Hot Lunch: Once again, Ms. Vicki and her volunteers will be providing hot lunches every day. She will be in the cafe/office area to answer your hot lunch questions. The first lunch is Wednesday.

Summer is over and game is on. The buildings are ready. The faculty and staff are ready. The priests and principal are ready. Are you ready? See you soon!
