Welcome to the 2014-15 school year! The St. Mary athletic program is already underway with girls’ volleyball practices beginning in early August. It’s not too late to join the team! The full Fall program will be in full swing soon when the cheer squad, girls’ tennis and co-ed cross country teams begin their practices and games/races. Schedules will be posted at the start of each team’s season, and will be updated weekly. Please frequently check the athletic department website for the most up-to-date information on the athletic program, including team-specific information and schedules.
The St. Mary athletic program is about more than competition and winning games. We ask our student athletes to give 100% in both practices and competitions. Students are held to high standards of sportsmanship, team work, respect for self and others, and self-discipline. While winning games and races is fun for everyone, emphasis is placed on playing to the best of our abilities, both individually and as a team, and most importantly, HAVING FUN! These important lessons will help our students be successful and happy people throughout their lives.
All eligible students are encouraged and invited to participate on one (or MORE!) of our teams. We do not run try-outs. If you are willing to work hard and play harder, we want you to join us! Who is eligible?

Even if you do not wish to participate in the athletic program as a player, we ENCOURAGE you to attend the games as a SUPPORTER of our student athletes. Having lots of fans in the stands makes playing even more fun! It’s a great family and school-community atmosphere. We hope to see you there!
