The Boundary Oak is a tree that is well-known on St. Mary Catholic School’s campus. From its beginning as a tiny acorn, the Boundary Oak is a symbol of strength, courage, and longevity. The future of St. Mary School will also take root from the gifts of those who remember SMS through a special form of financial support. Bequests and other forms of planned gifts will help to ensure the future of St. Mary School.
St. Mary Catholic School honors those who plan for the future of SMS by offering membership in the Boundary Oak Society for Planned Giving. From the time you inform SMS of your commitment, you are a member of the Boundary Oak Society and membership does not end. Boundary Oak Society members are recognized at our annual SMS Leaders event and in our annual Honor Roll of Donors. Most importantly, you will realize the satisfaction derived from making a lasting contribution to the long term success of St. Mary Catholic School.
Available gift planning strategies include:
- A bequest
- A gift from a trust
- Designating SMS as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan or IRA
- A charitable gift annuity
- A charitable remainder trust
