“I thank my God for you.” Phillippians 1:3
Dear St.MarySchool Families,
This morning began with a beautiful Mass planned by Mrs. Watts and the 4th grade reminding us of the holiday of Thanksgiving coming up next week. The verse above speaks to me when I think about all who are involved in St.MarySchool. I am grateful for the opportunity to be with you all.
Last evening it was lovely to see so many families attending the supper while supporting the school’s book fair. I’d like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Hudson (Alice, Class of 2011) for cooking the meal for us. The Book Fair will close after school today. Thank you to Mrs. Pafford and all of the parent volunteers who helped make this fair a success. She will report her proceeds in a future newsletter. All but two of the SMART boards in our school were purchased with points from Book Fair sales. In addition, all of the colorful rugs and educational materials have been purchased through our proceeds. We appreciate your support…enjoy reading!

Thanksgiving Outreach – This year our school students, faculty, and staff will provide 13 families with Thanksgiving dinners. All donations need to be in school before 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning. This project always teaches the lesson of how much can be given to others when each of us does our share.
Looking ahead to next week –
- Tuesday, Nov. 24th – Dress Down Day – Red, white, and blue
Student Council officers chose these colors to honor our great country and those who serve in our military. The colors also represent our thoughts and prayers for those who have lost their lives during the recent attacks in France.
- Tuesday, Nov. 24th – All food donations due for Thanksgiving Baskets by 10 a.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 25th – Noon Dismissal (Storm make up day) No After School Program
Congratulations to the 4th grade for winning the Box Tops Contest! They will receive a classroom party for their efforts.
Thanksgiving Blessings to you all,
Mrs. Joyce Price
