“Let your light shine…” Matt. 5:16
Dear St. Mary School Families,
Happy Easter to you all! I hope that the break gave you some quality family time. I was blessed to enjoy the company of my daughters as we traveled over southern Ireland and spent Easter weekend in Dublin during the centenary celebration of the Republic’s Easter Rising…great history lesson. It was also a wonderful experience being able to experience the town (Monaghan) in which my great-grandparents were born and raised. After all of the years that I have taught about the Holy Trinity, I was able to press some shamrocks t hat I picked from the Rock of Cashel where the legend states that St. Patrick taught the same using the simple shamrock…very exciting for this Catholic school teacher/principal.

Happy Birthday to Fr. Bob!
He celebrated his birthday this past week.
We sang to him at the end of Mass this morning. We hope that this year will be his best ever.

Gym Floor and Elevator –There was much progress made on the building projects while we were away. The gym floor is beautiful and just receiving a couple more coats of varnish before it will be complete and ready for P.E. classes to resume in there. My office on the 2nd floor of Tileston has 4 large holes in it, getting ready for the elevator. Our grounds have never looked so beautiful. Springtime is all around us, timed so well with the Resurrection.
